Participation
<-->CHI Nederland, the Dutch chapter of the ACM Special Interest Group on Human-Computer Interaction, will organize its 13th annual conference on Thursday, June 11th 2009 on the campus of Leiden University.
Theme
The theme of this year’s conference is “Change”.
How can we apply HCI and UxD as means to achieve postive “Change!”? How can we add value, for people as well as organizations, and for society at large?
Our aim is to push the boundary of HCI and UxD by exploring new approaches and new contexts.
We invite contributions about, but not limited to, the following subjects:
- Novel approaches. For example research through design, reflective design, service design, transformation design, etc
- Innovative means of interaction (between humans and technology), both theoretical and practical
- User involvement and user innovation
- Contributions embracing creativity, art, and playfulness, etc
- HCI and society. What are innovative approaches to address economic, environmental and social issues.
